tomatic, a thomas marban venture and tweetup, an idealab company jointly announce that they have entered into a definitive agreement whereby tweetup will acquire all of tomatic's current products, namely popurls, the premium buzz aggregator and twidroyd, the industry standard twitter client for android, launched in cooperation with ralph zimmermann. tweetup is backed by index ventures, betaworks, first round capital, steve case, jason calacanis and jeff jarvis.
